Actually, nothing much to say. I hunted private land all week, and helped the landowner's son bag a well-bodied 4-point on opening day, the only deer seen all week. As for me, no deer all week, but I did kill my first coyote while out on Tuesday.

Not exactly my year. But muzzleloader season is coming up at the end of the month, so I'll try then; and there's always bow for a good amount of time yet, so there are still some chances to connect.

I didnt get a shot off worth shooting either....
all though i did push a big 12 point(Prob. would have been a 15 there was break offs) to an older fellow. and i helped my dad bag a doe...he is disabled.
but maybe ill get better luck with the muzzleloader...

Was in my stand before sun up, and once the sun hit there were guns a blazin all around me and I did not see 1 deer. I stayed in my stand for about 6 to 7 hours and saw nothing. By that time my butt bone was realy hurting from sitting in that stand and I said heck with it there is always next year. I only hunted that opening day due to me only taking that day off and not having anymore vacation time. But, wouldn't you know the next day day my Dad sat in my stand and said he saw and could of shot 7 doe (huge ones) but he only wants a trophy buck. Like I said here's looking to next year and maybe I should of got those 2 I could of landed while bow hunting!
