So......how many of you guys own a quad? What make and model?

I don't own one but I think it would be cool to have one.

They're great. I used to have one, for now I use my gf's uncle's honda. We used them a lot during gun season. You can get to WAY more areas than by walking or risk getting the truck stuck.

When I do get one I can't decide if it will be a hunting type 4WD or a faster model. Probably a hunting type.......although they tend to be a bit wider.

Where we go a 4 wheeler would help but not greatly, I mean you can drive one through there but there are no trails or anything so its not a big deal we dont' have oen.

Down around camp Ohio nearly everyone has a quad simply because there are SO many areas to hunt. Sometimes you have to make a new trail because the one you're on has a big mud hole in the middle.

That's where a hunting/work type quad would be great because all your gear is attached and you don't have to worry about the trees knocking your gun case off.

Dont take this the wrong way, I dont care about atv's one way or the other...But I thought most sportsman were aginst them because of them tearing up the land?

Some guys do ruin land while they hunt, only because they dont care! Alot of people use them because of medical reason! I know when I get to where I cant walk alot I will be a riding on mine!Glenn
