Anybody been out or doing any good yet.

Numbers in NW OH this year seem to be about average for the last few years. Not a ton of rabbits, but enough to keep the dogs happy. Heading to Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area as soon as I get done typing this. See how I do there.

I got one on Friday.

hunted all day the first day and half a day the second day. didnt see that many rabbits, not at all like the normal numbers...but it was really hot and i think that had a lot do to with seeing them...plus it was really brushy yet so they may have been running but we could not see them.

hopefully after a couple of hard frosts and maybe a snow the number will increase
