in southwest ohio here what stage of the rut would you guys say we are in? I really havnt been able to be out much except on weekends. The suburban woods I hunt were tore up with rubs last sunday when I was out. How would you guys recommend I hunt this funnel that I hunt? MY fiances mother took a picture of a huge 8 pointer last week in her front yard and I'm just wondering should I be rattlingngrunting saturday morning when I go or what? Thanks for any replys.

Well im from Crawford County (NW Ohio) and i have been out almost everyday except when the winds have been high.....but i would say around here the chasing phase is in the middle and the peak of the rut will be around the week of thanksgiving.....had a nice tall 8 pointer come in last night but wasn't really interested with scents or "the can"
