Well my afternoon appointment needed to reschedule so I have time to hunt this evening. The weather stinks, but hey it's the rut and anything can happen. Wish me luck. It will be a hunt to remember if I can pull it off. Good luck to anyone else that heads out.

The deer are on the move. It is 4:20 and 15 mins ago I saw 4 doe and a buck in a clover field and wind was blowin about 30 mph so don't worrry about the weather now, just hunt! I'll be out there most of the day tomorrow and all day Friday and Saturday. Good luck guys!

I saw about 5 deer. None antlered that I could tell. 3 of the five stayed down in a thick wooded hollow. A doe and a button buck came right by my stand as well. I did have a flock of 17 turkey pass by too.
