Well finally everything came together and redemption was mine after a opening morning screw up! It started when I got off school at 2:40, so I raced home, 30 min drive. I hoped in my vehicle with my stuff and arrived at my hunting area! I get suited up and realize I forgot my hunting boots so I wore my brown slip on shoes and covered them with doe pee. On my way to my stand I kicked out a nice wide 10 point and 3 does! I thought my night was over after that! I sat in stand for about and hour and I Looked to my left and noticed soemthing moving! I looked again and it did it again! Here this big 8 point was bedded 80 yards from me the whole night. I hit my bleat can and he stood up and started working my way! Then suddenly he turned and I noticed 3 more does walknig away from me and he was following them! so I repeated my calling adding coem buck grunts, again he turned and came! This went on for 45 min. Finally, and came up and was at 8 yards but came directly in and I had no shot because of thick tree cover. He rubbed this one tree for probably 5 minutes. Then he took about ten steps to the left and I lit him up at about 23 yards. When the arrow hit him he did a back leg kick and actually over rotated and flipped comepletly over and landed on his back! He stood and and trotted about 15 yards and looked back. He stood there for about 2 min then he started to sway and he tipped! As Ted Nugget would say, THE BEAST HAS FALLEN!http://www.ohiosportsman.com/photopost/data/540/1535IM000846.jpg
