Rattling???

Which do you like to use.......rattle bag or real antlers (not the fake ones)......and why??

I use the real antlers. They were free, plus what sounds like an antler more than an antler.

I use real antlers also. Although they can be kind of a pain to carry in and out of the woods, I prefer the sound of real antlers.
I do know guys that have had success with the bags and the boxes. I guess that it comes down to personal preference.

I switched to a bag about 6 years ago after getting REALLY tired of carrying antlers with me. It's probably just a coincidence, but my rattling success has increase 10 fold since switching. With a little practive they sound the same as real antlers. And, despite what some believe, the higher pitched sound of the bag carries a lot farther than real antlers.

I'm with Magis. I used to use real horns but got tired of hauling them in and out every time I went out.

I bought a bag for this season, and I like it so far. Haven't had any bucks come into them yet, but they carry noise wise better than my old horns. My mom said she could hear my rattlin' last weekend will she was making breakfast. Not bad for being inside and about 150 yards away.
