View Full Version : Nice day, but no fish!

Hit the BIG river today for a few hours. It was nice to be out, but got no action! The BPS was out of dynamite, so I used my one and only frozen skip jack from last fall. I guess that I will have to wait a few more weeks.

Yep, that’s it…rub it in! Did I mention that I was on the bank in 6” of mud with only a single skipjack (five pieces of cut bait). The rods were nice and clean after their winter maintenance, but now they look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. BUT, at least I did not get out-fished on my own boat! LOL nice fish guys!

I would, but I have a linkage problem or something. I was just "sharing" that fish were caught in the mighty Ohio. :eek: :p
I can't wait till spring now. I want to see how that new 11' 6" surf rod does.
