In one of the other threads comments were made that the most big bucks are seen from Nov. 15th and the end of gun season and several chimed in and agreed. I'd like to put a spin on this and see what comes of it. Is the reason for seeing all these big bucks REALLY all because they're roam further in search of doe OR is it because everyone saves they're vacation time up for mid November and they're just spending more time in the woods?? It seems that there's never a shortage of very big deer taken in October and there's only about half the number of guys out on a regular basis vs November.
For me? I think once the deer get out of their bachelor groups in mid-october the big bucks move as well then as mid November. Have I taken a big guy? No but I've seen a number of them, always just a little off. :rolleyes:
