Hi!
my name is Charles and I was wondering if there is anyone here who woundn't mind going hunting. I've been hunting for 2yrs. no deer yet. I do hunt squirrel with my 12 and 20 gauges and would like to try hunting with someone. I have a crossbow and also looking forward to deer gun season. I am willing to share my harvest just for bringing me along.

Charles, again, welcome to the forum.
As for hunting with someone, sure, count me in. I hunt deer on private land in Summit County, and hunt public land for everything else. I live in Summit, you live in Trumbull, we could meet halfway in Portage (lots of places to go there). My biggest problem is time, as my domestic calendar fills up fast (and my wife tells me that I am OK with that), so we’d have to plan.
The private land where I hunt deer would be off limits to you. The landowner is a good friend of mine from church, and because I’m a helluva nice guy, he lets me hunt there whenever I care to, but other than me and just a couple other close friends of his, he restricts usage just to his family. But public land abounds in NE OH. One might argue that the suburban places (e.g., Hambden Orchard, Auburn, and the like) are all hunted-out, and I will admit that my success in such places is extremely limited, but other places are rife with game. Just PM me sometime and we can figure something out.
And remember: The force will be with you…always

The birds I'm looking to hunt are waterfowl (Ducks/Geese), Pheasant and the like. Nothing too small.
Duffy} We can also see the public lands in your area too. I don't mind the drive. In fact, my county has many acres of public land. Look up Grand River wildlife and mosquito creek wildlife area.
May the force be with you too. . . .
