Squirrel Hunting NE Ohio

Help,

My son (20) is looking for somewhere to squirrel hunt near Akron. He is new to hunting this year. He mentioned Spencer Lake but doesn't know where to go. Any ideas

you might want to check out Ohio Department of Wildlifes webite.
it is very informative and it even has maps and description of the principal game species for the area.
That might be a good place to start.

Maybe, even give them a call 1-800-WILDLIFE and ask some advice on good squirrel areas close by you.
I am sure they would have some great advice.

OK thanks. I got him some maps from the DNR site for Spencer, Berlin, and West Branch. Hopefully those will work. Getting to the lakes is easy, finding a place to hunt legally is the trick
