quick question....how do u guys use "the can" went hunting for the big ones??

I like to use it once I have a visual on a buck. I have drawn a lot of bucks in to range once I have seen them with the can. But I can't say I have ever lured one from far away with it.

I use do it twice back-to-back and then wait 10 sec. or so a do it one single time.


A little side note, if you blow through the hole on the bottom of the can, it will sound alot like a fawn bleat. I have called in several does during the summer for pictures using the can like that. Last year I got a doe to come within range by doing that.

I've had mixed results, some bucks would come running while others just kinda looked over and said yeah right. I have used it the same way as the others have said to use. Maybe it's just all the hunting pressure around us, but I have had some decent bucks come into it.

I usually use it after my first cup of coffee BEFORE hitting the stand. ... (sorry, that was a really bad joke:D )

I haven't had any good results with the can. Two different times I had a buck in sight, when I tilted the can they walked the other way. Two times was enough for me.
