Who's Hunting and Fishing in SW OH?

Who's hunting and fishing in SW OH? Dove season went fair, a few outings, a couple limits. Set up duck blind on CC, ready for early duck deason to begin. Scouting places for quail and pheasant - got a few good spots from last season.

Anybody know where there's a huntable population of grouse in SW OHIO?

Just got back from the Pere Marquette River in MI - 3 days, 4 guys' 21 Kings over 20lbs. Great time!

You might try Ross or Vinton county for Grouse......we have a bunch on our lease.

I hear Saug's are already starting to hit good at CC?!?! I haven't been myself but a couple of guys I know hit them good yesterday (Monday 9/26). With a few cooler nights expected this week the fishin should get hot!

I mostly bow hunt in SW Ohio (Montgomery, Greene, Warren, Clinton & Preble) but have a couple of farms I goose & dove hunt on, too! Not seeing many quail on these farms due to habitat mainly......I realease a few training my pointer but they don't last long with the hawks and coyotes!

Thanks for the info 10 guage. I hope to hit CC this weekend, boaters should be minimal, hopefully.

Darren, I forgot the number of the blind, and I think it's in a pretty bad spot, but it is the first blind under the 73 overpass on the left side as you pass under the overpass from the main lake...
