The top two are definately Males. The bottom fish is female. I can't tell the others for sure.

I'm going to say that bottom brookie is a female and that the middle brown and rainbow are both males. Nice pics!

i am 100 percent sure is a FEMALE.

She is the biggest small stream brown I have ever helped land.

The hook lower jaw is the only charistic (ms?) I know to tell male from female, males having the hook.

Come on Lance, show us your trout fishing prowess, what are some other sexual traits of trout?

I don't know how well I sex trout based on my last date with them! :p

I guess I should ask What time of year were the picks taken? If they were fall picks then the male brookies should have more intense color and if that's the case I'll stick with my picks

I can't tell since it's not a bass, croppie or bluegill. Nice looking fish though, healthy.
