Need to find sandworms

Does anyone know what a sandworm is? I'm originally from Northcentral Indiana and we use to fish with sandworms for gills, eyes, and perch. I live in Colorado now and I think sandworms would work great for walleye on a slip bobber fished near the cliffs in our reservoirs. They look life the white larvae that you find when you are digging in your garden, but they are brown and have whiskers on the nose. They feed only on oak leaves and can be found where oak leaves have bunched up on the edge of streams and rivers. Does anyone know where I could get some this summer?

Thanks anyway. Bait shops use to go out and dig them theirselves. I don't imagine many of them go out and get their own bait anymore. They get it all from the big dealers.

red worms would it? I think some places call them trout worms.

I used them alot in Puget Sound fishin' for Ocean Perch around dock pileings .. we would just scape into the clam shells/barnacles on the pileings with a rock & collect them while makin' chum or buy them at a bait shop. I think you must have the name confused ~ anyhow check this photo out because it is a sandworm:
