Auglaize River (Putnam County) –

Smallmouth bass are being taken during the morning hours. Crankbaits being cast into the deeper holes is working the best. The Fort Jennings Park has been a hot spot lately.

I have a couple buddies that have been wadeing the portage river near Elmore and the Sandusky river just north of Tiffin that are doing good on the smallies, floating rapalas and roostertails are their main lures.
They're catching mostly small scrapers(8/12inchers), but I did see a pic of a couple 3lbers they caught last week.
