Ok wlb,,

Went camping up there in Michigan a couple of weeks back,,,Right in the middle of the manistee National Forest.....(Wexford County) When telling this story at about 12:00 or so the first night,,I blew them all away when all of a sudden a sound of something sceaming right on top of the camp site occured...I thought it was a buddy that was supposed to stop out and visit but as I laughed and waited for him to poke his head out from behind a tree ,I realized that no one was there except what ever it was that screamed....I lived up there for 14 years and never heard of a sound like that one....I even scared myself with that one!!!LOL ...The girls were begging to go to a motel...lol...They moved there tent 3 times in about a half an hour to get it close enough to the camp fire without catching it on fire!!!lol then parked the cars on the back side and side of there tent with a big tree on the other side....They were cussing at me most of that night and half the next day......lol

Wexford County Dog Man Legand

A cool summer morning in early june is when the legand began,

at a nameless logging camp in Wexford County were the Manistee River ran.

Eleven Lumberjacks near the Garlin swamp found an animal they thought was a dog,

In a playfull mood they chased it around till it ran inside a hollow log..

A logger named Johnson grabbed him a stick and poked around inside,

Then the thing let out an un earthly scream,,

Came out,,,,,,,,and stood upright!

None of those men ever spoke very much about whatever happend then,

They just packed up there belongings and left that night ,,were never heard from again.

It was ten years later in 97 when a farmer near Buckley was found,

slumped over his plow,his heart had stopped,there were dog tracks all around...

Seven years passed,the turn of the century, they say a crazy old widow had a dream of dogs that circled her house at night,,

they walked like men and screamed......

In 1917 a sheriff who was out a walkin',

found a driverless wagon and tracks in the dust,

like wolves had been stalkin'.......

Near the roadside a four horse team laid dead with there eyes wide open,

when the Vet. finished up his examination,

he said it looked like they died of fright.....

In 37 a scooner captin said several crew members had reported,

a pack of wild dogs roamin' Baurerus Harbor,

His story was never recorded....

In 57 a man of the cloth found claw marks on a old churchhouse door,

the newspaper said they were made by a dog,

he would of had to of stood seven foot four.........

In 67 a van full of hippy's told a park Ranger name Quinlin,,

They had been awakend in the night with scatchin' at the windows

there was a dog man lookin' in and grinnin'

In 77 there was screammin' in the night near a village o Bellaire,

could of been a bobcat,could of been the wind, nobody looked up there...

So far this year no story's have appeared,

have the dogmen gone away,,have they dissappered?

Soon enough I guess we'll know,,

is this the time to fear?

In the decade called the 80's

the seventh year is here..............

And somewhere in the North woods darkness,

a creature walks upright,,,

the best advise you'll ever get is,,

Don't go out at night.....................
