I am planning on going out opening day of bow season. I haven't missed an opening day in many years.
How many of you will be getting out?

I might not make it out opening day, but not because I don't want to. I'm only just getting into bowhunting, and I'm afraid I won't be as proficient at shooting as I should be before the season gets underway.

I'm still in the air about it. Opening day is pretty hectic down here. Besides it's been hotter than hell too.

I'll be out w/ my son on his first bowhunt. We have a feeder that the deer are starting to frequent and some foodplots that are just starting to come up so opening day should be fun.

I'll be out this year for sure. I missed it last year for the first time in about 9 years. I also like the early opening day where last year's I think was the 6th and this year it is the first which is awesome as I think you can still find a few bucks on their summer pattern yet when the opener occurs a little early.

Ill be out on opening day i cant decide if i should hunt over the corn or the buck forage oats, right now the spot where i feed apples is getting hit hot and heavy.

Hey Buckslayer if you are talkin about Crawford County Ohio then I know that area. My buddy hunts a few properties up there by Riley Resevoir if you know where that's at.

I DON'T hunt opening day of bow season anymore, haven't in 13 years.....my daughter was born on opening day and here bithday typically falls on that weekend almost every year! I typically hunt the second weekend in October and the last week really hard before the rut in November. November is by far my favorite bow hunting month I'm out as much as I can get!
