Do any of you use your atv to get into or out of the woods while hunting? I know that some do for one reason or another. I choose not to because of the noise.

I don't. Not much stealth involved in that. I prefer to be as quiet as possible.
The neighbor guy hunts from his during gun season. His reason is that he has a bad knee. I've seen him jump deer with it while I was in my stand and he never knew they were there. Pretty funny.

I know that some people with a physical problem use them. I no that some people ride them in part way and walk the rest of the way.
I agree with you CR. I like to be as quiet as possible going in and going out.

I Have Before and theres atleast one in the woods every night and i have seen deer just watch as you go by them so i think that if they are used to hearing them it really dosent bother them. For Example: we have about 50 acres of fields on one side of the woods and to get to those other 50 acres you have to drive trough the woods on a trail and i have been running corn before and stopped to talk to someone else and have only been stopped for about 2 minutes and here comes 4 or 5 deer out into the field.

I use my Polaris to get too and from at one of my hunting grounds in SE Ohio. 3600 acres makes for a long sweaty walk or drag at that matter. I use the ride, park, and short walk approach. Hunting my smaller tracts in NE Ohio I always walk in and out. If successful then I'm making phone calls looking for some dragging aid/help.
