OK, there's a public archery range at Berlin on Fewtown Road, right? It doesn't show up on the map on the DoW website. Can someone verify that it's there? What's it like?

Also, how is the squirrel hunting at Berlin? Any good around the archery range/Fewtown Road area?

Thanks.

Yes there is a range, I've seen a few people shooting there. It seems decent enough, I've not walked the field course portion of it. Only the targets on the main range portion, I think there's about 8 or 10 of those.

It's very close to the dog training area. There are some areas down the road a little further from the archery range that you may be able to find some squirrels.

The range is nice - but check the target backstops cuz some of them are shot out from time to time and your arrows go right through - the field course has about 10 targets at various ranges and settings and a couple of elevated towers to shoot from

take care

Lance and geezer, thanks!

I assume they're open on Labor Day. I'm planning on killing two birds with one stone that day (no pun intended) by shooting my bow and doing some squirrel with my 20. Looking forward to checking it out.
