fished the tusc river tonight with my wife renee and rockbass. tried a new spot, fished for about an hour, renee had one nice 21 inch channel cat. i had one 15 inch channel and got my 7th fish ohio award channel (27 inches long) weighing right around 7 1/2 lbs, forgot my digital scale . needless to say we left the new spot, didnt want to fish it too hard before saturdays TCBA tournament on the tusc. all of our fish came on strawberry banana livers.:)

I think that is a reference to the ole Tuscararwas River and I have no idea if I spelled that correctly which is probably why he just called it the tusc. lol
I have no idea what strawberry-bannana liver is?
I like fresh cut shad for catfish bait or maybe chicken liver.

yep i was talking about the tuscarawas river near new philadelphia.
strawberry banana liver is real simple to make..........................take a tub of liver and add 1/3 a pack of strawberry banana jello mix to it ...............shake it up good and let it soak for a day or two............IT WORKS !!!
