public hunting areas near Bellefontaine

I was just curious, are there any public hunting areas in the general area of Bellefountaine? I drive through there on my way south to where I hunt and always see a lot of deer, and it is a lot closer to my house than the areas I usualy hunt in down by McConnelsville...Any Info would be welcomed...New Guy

There are designated areas at Indian Lake that are huntable but you would have to contact them and find out more Info.

As far as that everything is Private Property here in Logan County.
You can always bang on some doors and try to obtain permission.

Everytime I go to Indian Lake I always see lots of deer. However, I have no idea if there is public hunting land in that area. You could always ask permission.

There are a few really nice bucks around that area but eyes are on em all summer.
