Pre-Season Meet & Greet

I was thinking we should have a pre-season meet and greet. By bringing up the idea now I thought we would have time to get things in order.

Any ideas on where/when?

I guess I don't mind driving down to Columbus again.

Sounds like fun. A Saturday afternoon or evening should be good for most. It would have to be after 9/18 for me as that is when I get back from Lake Tahoe.

Oh yeah, Andy's wife is great. She loves cooking for a bunch of people. Serving beers is her specialty. I think Andy said he'd set up a 3d range in his neighborhood. I guess his neighbors are pretty cool too.:)

Oh yeah! I know his neighborhood is great for a 3D shoot. Lots of trees and some ravines and such. It's going to be a blast ey!

BUT, if you guys pick a date we'll do the whole show. 3D tagets through the neighborhood..... I can have my kids wear deerhides and run through the yard for moving target practice (careful though, the 2 year old shoots BACK!).......we can have like a crossbow duel, you know walk 10 paces and then turn around and fire!!..............Oh the things we can do.

ORrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, we could all just meet at a bar, get drunk, tell lies, and make fun of Thunderflight behind his back.:D ......YUP! That sounds like a good idea!!!

Let me know, guys. I'd sure like to see everyone again.........although I'll be bringing a sippy cup for Critter!!

Here is my proposal for a preseason meet and greet to pump up for the upcoming deer season:

Saturday 9/24/05 at 8:00pm @ Quaker Steak N Lube

This is where the last one was so some us already know where it is and how to get there. Also, it is a nice casual place to get some wings and a beer. I like the time as it avoids conflict with a lot of family activities and I don't think it's too late. One other point is that this place is very easy to find and access as it is right off of I-71. So, everyone should grab their camo hat and head on out to the Quaker Steak and Lube. We welcome everyone!!!

Hey critter, are you talking about the one near Polaris? If so you might want to check to see if its still open. I drove by there the other day coming back from Alum and it looked like it was out of business.

Ok, I will check it out and post an update. An easy alternative would be BW3 which is about 1/4 mile down the same road, but other side of I-71. I'll check it out.

I went by the Quaker Steak and Lube Friday evening around 5:00pm or so and the place was hoppin so they are open and ready for our business!
