I am brand new to the board and just wanted to say hi to everyone.
Looks like a great site. I always enjoy talking about the outdoors with my Ohio "homies."
I hunt whitetails and turkeys.
I fish and ice fish for bass, walleye, muskie, northern pike, catfish, crappie, steelhead, and a few other species from time to time.
I hope to make some friends here and learn as much as I can.
Welcome to the forums. :)

Welcome,
The water is fine, jump in:)
On michigan-sportsman we have had them running for awhile but since a site was made just for Ohio, our fearless leader steve would only know.
Welcome again!

Yes, Lance, I have fished Misquito for Pike, but my best lake is Lake Evans. I've done very well there. Best kept secret in Ohio

Never even heard of it, a really good secret if it's in NE part of the state? Does it freeze enough to put out tip-ups?

Hello VC1111. Evans is a teriffic lake. I go there for bass myself.
Do you fish Pine & Hamilton too?
If you fish these lakes than you must know about Girard Lakes
& whats happening there. Lower Girard is probabably done for a while & I just heard Upper Girard may have to be drained some also. May not be able to fish either lake the next year , 2 , or 3. :( :( :(

Hey! Bass Day, you must be a neighbor! Yes I fish the others also. But I haven't been to Girard for quite a while.

I'm about an hour north of Evans but it's worth the drive every once in a while. It's kind of hard for me to keep track of their schedule, but I get down there when I can.
