River conditions?

I was wanting to fish the river above or below Meldahl and was wondering if the river was up and if the water was muddy or clear.

Hey J-D-F, I don't know if you've ever seen this or not, but the Army Corps of Engineers manages all the dams on the river & has a public web site where you can look up the different pools/dams as well as a bunch of different lakes. They give their office phone for each location & normally are a wealth of good information as far as conditions go. This link should take you to their page on Meldahl:
