Why do people shoot crossbows?

That is an age old question that is as old as man kind, that many a wise man has pondered to no avail.

1) Some people it's easier.

2) Some people because of physical limitations.

2) Some people just plain like em.
These are some reasons but certainly not all.

Use what you are comfortable with using.
crossbows do not make you less of a hunter.

a bow is still a short range weapon, no matter if its a longBOW , recurve BOW, compound BOW, or a crossBOW.

and physical limitations or disabilities also make a crossbow a often times the only choice to bow hunt.

I feel if you like to shoot or feel more confident in shooting a crossbow, then hey... shoot a crossbow, aint nothing wrong with shootin or huntin with a crossbow.

WE are all brothers of the arrow, no matter what throws the arrow and we need to be united against the antis not one another.

Remember a house divided will not stand.

It is a way to stir...crossbow vs. compounds....an issue that is always heated. I say if you like them fine if you din't fine. People shoot what they like.

i use them cause im good with one.i get what i go after when i hunt with one. i got a deer 3 hogs and a cow elk last year with one .i would say that good for a year of huntin.

Join the force (site), then you will understand. ;) I have no problem with the x-bow, when the hunter using it has been trained properly and practiced with it a lot. Just some are en-trenched in thier opinions about them.
