Iwas wondering if any one still fishes bluegill and bass on the sand bars in the rivers in n/west Ohio any more or is this something being missed ? We used worms and craws just dragging them acrossed . big flat head cats are being cought in Maumee andf Auglaze Rivers around Defiance Ohio now .:cool:

CATS HAVE CAME ON PERTY GOOD AT INDEPENDANCE DAM , FISHING LIVECHUBS ,WORMS AND CUT BAIT . THE RIVERS FROM THE DAM ALL THE WAY TO FT. WAYNE IN. HAVE HOLES THEY HIDE IN REALY GOOD IF THERE IS LOGS AND BRUSH A ROUND THEM . JUST LAST WEEKEND A 49lb. 1oz. WAS TAKEN AT POWERDAM BY A WADER BELOW THE POWER HOUSE ON CHUB .

YES GOOD BLACK TOP PARKING RIGHT AT THE DAM . YOU MAY HAVE ALOT OF COMPANY VERRY WELL USED AREA , BEST BET WOULD PLAN TO FISH INTO THE MORNING HOURS , CHUBS AND PRECOUGHT BLUEGILL ABOUT 5" TO 7" GOOD SIZE .GOOD LUCK. STOP IN AND SEE PAUL AT PAUL's SUPPLY OPEN TILL 6:30PM . ON OTTAWA AVE. DEFIANCE ABOUT FISHING HINTS.:)
