A new Gander Mountain store just open near the cross roads of america.....near I-70 and I-75 (west a few miles of 75 at 202...you can see it from the freeway)...this one claims to be the largest Gander in Ohio at 68,000 sq.ft.,........I was there today and was really impress with this store......I actually like the layout more than Bass-pro in Cinn.,...it was said in last Sunday's paper......that it will be the new model store for future stores....I believe its the ninth Ohio Gander.....and by far the largest......I'm real please to see this store up and want to support it and wish it well.Check it out......

Bozz,

I've been there a couple of times....find weekdays to be a bit easier with all the construction around that exit ramp!!!

The new Dick's Sporting Goods in Beavercreek is really nice too, they have expanded their hunting & fishing department tremendously, much better selection of firearms, too. This store is a double decker like Bass Pro and gives us Dayton area folks a couple of choices......Bass Pro aint the only game in town now!

Don't forget our friend Ron English at Olde English in Ginghamsburg, just north of Vandalia......Ron has a great archery department and carries Mathews bows at reasonable prices (shouldn't use Mathews and reasonable price in same sentence, I know). With Gander in town maybe Ron's gun prices will get a little more competitive?!?!

Yeah the Gander exit ramp is a bear....really kinda funky location there.....but nice just the same.....went to the new Dicks.....it looks like the old galyans (spelling?) store in columbus of which they purchase the chain I heard......I have not been to old english in a long time.....use to hunt in west milton.....but not anymore.......have you been to the Cabela's store in Dundee, Mich. ?......now thats a very nice store....my favorite of all but a little too far for me......3 hrs.,..been their 2 times....I like them all they all have their strong points !!
