Full Choke, In your Bulldog days you didn't do some roars on Adams St.? I think I taught you all you know but not in fishing. How's the fishing out east been? Around here, saugeye at Paulding Reservoir have been the ticket.

Kenneth,
Just reread the post, guess I got confused on who said what.Saugeyes in Northeast Ohio??? I have been gone to long!
Did they have Saugeyes in the Paulding Reservoir in the 70's?(we lived in oakwood till i was in the 3rd grade)
We may know some of the same "secret" spots.

If you were doing the teaching I'm sure I know who this is! Did somone say Simcoe? Am I correct in my thinking?
THe Bass in the Portage Lakes area have been on from what I hear. Wont be to long for the crappies and eyes at Mosquito.
We had about 5-6 inches of snow on the ground this last weekend with up to 21 inches not much north of us.
Anyhow Kenneth,Stay away Independence Dam area,by george lot of characters fish that area!

Full Choke, your right all the way and you have to pay the bill in Napoleon! As for Paulding, they put in saugeye, I would say, at least 20 years ago. Early on folks caught & kept any that would swim (8-10") as well as putting them in their ponds and things slowed up a while. Folks are now more sensible & letting them grow up. Fishing is pretty good for a change. Small jigs with sparkle tails, leeches, worms, & minnows all work. Perch? That's a different story there. Really has been poor for a number of years since the Joliette Dr. "pro" on I got 'em.
