anyone ever hunted blue rock for grouse? was thinking about a little late season grouse hunt. scouted it for turkeys last april and kicked up 7 diffrent grouse in about an hour.

Welcome Scott, it's always good to see more bird hunters!
That's on my list of places to explore but I doubt I'll get there this year. I've had a hard time getting out so far this winter so I'll probably focus my trips on areas I know. I just discovered the state forest stuff last year, up till that I've stuch to the wildlife areas or coal lands. A gordon ?? Don't see many of those down here.

muskegum, county. about a half hour south of I-70 look it up in a search on your computer.great territory mostly pine forest.never seen so many grouse.
