This stinks. Planning turkey camp for a long time now and we are going to have crummy weather. Too bad cause for most of us it is about the only time to get out to the woods. To make matters worse we are expecting 6-8 inches of snow! Yes, I said snow in late April. Had such a nice spell of weather I knew it was bound to change.
Im really screwed,
Wifes in Flordia til Tues :D
I quit drinking
ATV is loaded up ready to hit the track :(
Turkey gear is loaded up ready to be used :(
All my buddies are out of town or working :(
Last week I was looking forward to this weekends racing and hunting, but now all I hope for is that I dont have to shovel the walkway

The typical statement for Ohio weather is: "If you don't like the weather, stick around and it'll change in a few hours."
I've been procrastinating about putting my snowthrower into storage, but it appears to have paid off. :( Yuck!
My wife and I have had enough and are looking at moving to Tennessee. :p I guess I'll have to sell my snowthrower.
Good hunting, Bowhunter57

I guess you'll just have to track those turkeys and practice your rambo skills instead of having them come to you! Dont forget your bowie knife and leave your shotgun at home!

Were under a heavy snow storm in Ashtabula Co. Been snowing most of the night and all morning so far. Trying to get psyche up by watching turkey tapes. Me and my 2 boys each bagged birds yesterday from 10:00 to 11:50 am. If it would slack up snowing I'll be out the last 2 hours to try our luck before noon.

Well who would have thought you would have needed show camo for spring turkey hunting!
I had all my stuff loaded up for my turkey trip. Checked the weather last night. Between 70% and 45% chance of rain all week. I thing the highest temp was 45.
Who wants to freeze get soaked and muddy for a chance to hunt turkeys that won't be responding to anything you do. We skrapped the trip. I probably won't get to use my license. That is $20.00 down the drain.

I like to hunt turkeys, but I don't like hunt in this crappy weather. I would consider hunting in stuff like this for a trophy buck, but not for some old bird.

I guess I spoke to soon. The eight day forecast is calling for a chance of rain everyday for the next eight with a high of 63 on Saturday. Maybe they will change it again when it gets a little closer.

That has been the typical spring around here for several years now. Rain Rain and more Rain.

The bad part about it is how it will effect the hatch. We had a poor hatch last year because of the cold and rain and it looks like we are going to have a repeat of that this year. I sure hope not though.

Well rain or not I'll be happy with the 60 some degrees on Saturday. I know that this last Saturday I stayed farely warm, warm enough to stay out for 5 hours, and it was only in the 40s. I'm thinking Sixties will be pretty nice.
