A friend caught 2 nice walleye from the east shore of Findlay #2 last evening at dusk. One guy beside him caught 2 and another had 4. 3" Chartreuse green, and 3" purple speckle twister tails on 1/4oz jighead seemed to be what was working best. Dad and the nephews were on their way over a little bit ago so I'll post their results tomorrow. I couldn't go because I value my marriage. Plus I can go to the river tomorrow if I'm a good boy.

Redhunter 1012--
Thanks for the post on Findlay res. It used to be one of my hotspots, especially for perch and bluegills. I haven't fished it for a long time but maybe this year I'll give it a try. Good luck.

Found out that dad caught 3 walleye last night and my 1 nephew caught 2. I'm not sure how anybody else did. This scoop came from My mom. Dad and nephew Nick are at Fostoria Resivoir #6 right now fishing over the brush piles for big crappie and saugeyes. I think they should get some. We usually do alright at Fostoria this time of year on slabs and saugeyes. I'll try to post results when I find out.

The wife and I fished the east shore in front of the stone piles on Thursday night. At 6:45 I caught a 17" Walleye on a 1/4oz lead head with chartruese tail. About 20 minutes later the wife caught a real nice 24" walleye on same bait. I lost another one right before dark then we had to leave cause she got cold. (right at primetime) On the way out we saw 2 more fish caught. Overall I saw 8 other fish besides ours caught and assume more being caught after we left. There were a few more fishermen arriving as we were leaving. We didn't even have a wind blowing in towards us that night so I was surprized at everybody's success. We're heading back up there tonight and the wind will be perfect.

Myself, the wife, and sister in law fished the same spot tonight and my wife caught one about 16". I didn't see another fish caught. While I was in the parking lot a older gentlemen showed me the 5 he caught on the south shore. He said he didn't catch anything until 8:30. He caught all 5 fish within 15 minutes. One fish was 21" and the rest were between 16"-18".

Fished from my boat on sat. Got 2 15 inch walleyes on lidy rigs with leaches drifting. Also got 4 cats and a whitebass. Fished from 2 till 6:30. Wanted to stay till dark but the guy with me had to be home. Still not a bad day. This is my first year boat fishing.
