I believe there is a post in the 4 wheelin' section on what is best. There is nothing wrong at all with the cats since they have a Suzuki motor in them .:D

My dad has a 300 4x4 and rarely uses the 4x4. With the triple range of 15 gears there is more power that you'll ever need. We ride in Vinton CTY and use it for food plots and it shines. The guys we ride with use Ranchers, FourTrax, Grizzleys and Sportmans. The Cat always chugs by in 2wd when they are stuck or need to use 4WD. Hillclimbing power is second to none. Put it in the low range and it just idles you back going down steep hill and no need to brake. Compare the suspension. U go over rocks and logs and dont even feel them. Honda is stuck in the 80's with ATV's. Spend a day on the Rancher and your arms/back/butt will pay. Hard seats, no travel, stiff suspension, no independent suspension, hard steering. Several Honda mechanics told my dad to stay clear of the bigger Honda motors, when he was looking. After u have ridden all these in different situations, none of them compare to the Cat. I could go on, but....just research/ride them first!!!!
