Is what the ice should be come this weekend. Highs in the 20's all week, Saturday highs in the teens. The pond outside my hourse has about 3" right now. I think I might go after some bluegill.

Is ice strongest when it is more clear or foggy colored?

clear ice for sure!!!

some of the milky ice might be from the old snow melt on top, but it probably has good hard ice under since it has turned cold again.

The pond has clear ice, but the end of the week it should be prime!
