As some of you may know I got a new truck a couple weeks ago. After we did our negotiating with the salesmen we wrote the check to pay for the truck. So we take care of the paper work and they pull the truck in to have it washed. Well after waiting a while the manager takes us back to show us some dents in the passenger side door and access door. He said bring it back next week and we'll take care of the dents. I though it was a little funny that he waited till after the check was written to tell me about it. So I took over on the Wednesday like he said to. The Dent Wizard is only there on Wednesdays. I drop it off and they give me a loaner car so that I could go to Gander Mtn. while they pull the dents since I live over a half hour away from the dealer. I get a call a couple hours later saying that the body shop has to fix it so it wouldn't be done that day. So I went home and waited. They called me this afternoon to say it was done. I went over and picked it up. It smelled like fresh paint, which gave me a headache. When I got it home in the garage I noticed there were still some dents in it. Not too mention it looks like there's dirt within the clear coat. I'm going to make a call in the morning. They better reason with me righ away otherwise I'm driving it through their front showroom glass.
J/K- They may have to put new doors on it. I'm losing my patience.

Sounds like a great place to shop for a new vehicle. What is the dealer so no one else goes there. All car dealers are crooked!

I'll wait till it's all over till I say the name of the dealer. I have confidence that it will be taken care of, I'm just frustrated.
My plans are to deal with the sales manager that sold the truck and promised to have the dents taken care of as well as the service manager tomorrow. If that doesn't work I'll contact the dealership owner. If that doesn't work than I'm contacting Toyota itself. My mom purchased a vehicle from them before and had no problems.

After they took all day to call me back after they said, "I'll have Bill call you back in 30 minutes" they scheduled me to bring it back in on the 23rd. The manager was apologetic and just wants to do it right. I wasn't a hot head with them about it and they want to get it done right. I don't hold the dealership responsible for the problem. I think they have an outside body shop do body work. They hadn't been able to look the truck over before I picked it up. I just hope they can get it done right now. I was bummed not having my truck for 5 days before. It's my first truck and I really like it. They'll give me a loner vehicle. I'll let you know what happens when I take it in.
I also want to know why it was in 4 wheel high when I picked it up. I don't see what that has to do with the door. Hmm.

The loner they gave me last week was a corolla. I was really close to taking a lap around our fourwheeler track with it, but I was afraid I'd rip the bottom trim off of it. :) I'll be gentle with it. Maybe:D
