I've been to Blackhoof a few times. It's mostly set up for trad shooters but it's a fun shoot for anyone. You should leave your open rig at home. They don't have a problem with wheel bows (the whole group seems like nice buch) but it's VERY short. Only two stakes and one or two shots between 30-35 max and the rest are 15-25 or those darn rascal shots. I'm talking 2 yard shots at Rascals and such. (Hint, use your longest pin);) They sometimes have a running target also. If I'm taking out a newbie with me I'll try and take them there as the first option so they won't get discouraged by losing arrows.
