Got the beagle out today...

No rabbits but we did see 10 deer, a coyote and a coon. The floods have the critters corralled on the high ground. It was kind of a fun morning. Now I am off to help my aunt and uncle clean up all the ice damaged trees from their yard.

I'd really like to do some rabbit hunting. I've only gone once but didn't see a thing.

Hey Jimmy, I know you might still be trying to fill that deer tag, but right now SpittinSpurs and I are likely to go next Saturday for rabbits and you're more than welcome to join us. I'll keep you posted.

Where do you guys hunt?

For rabbits we usually hunt Delaware Wildlife Area or Big Island Widllife Area(Marion), but for the past 4 days or so those places have been under water. We're kind of scratching our heads right now. We'll figure something out. I'll post more details and if it's a go for sure later this week.
