For any of you who may have thought about attending and didn't, well all I can say is you missed a good one! This little show has grown and done well on this it's third year! They actually had MUCH more stuff there to buy and see. The number of tiers has doubled and I really picked some nice techniques watching Dennis Potter and Chris Helm as well as some others! Even Simms sent a factory rep this year with their 2005 product line. I picked up a Silver pheasant skin from Hurst hackle and smattering of other materials from the other shops there. Also picked up an autographed copy of "Tying Emergers". It's a MUST have book if you like fishing emregers.

Ok, I'll quit rambling...... for now!!!:D

Actually I did. Dennis Potter tied a pretty cool/durable biot bodied stone fly nymph. A little time consuming compared to some but looked great and should hold up pretty well despite the biot body. He tied several flies with his "tying durable flies" motto. I only got to watch the one start to finish. I also picked up some cool pieces of a very simple crayfish pattern from Ray Schmidt using maribou tied in a post for the claws.
