Just read madrivers thread and the unique strain of walleye. This explains why I didnt boat a fish yesterday morning from daybreak till 11. Water good color, just the right currents, partly to mostly cloudy, and water temp 38 degrees! They damn DNR musta netted em all out! ;) :D :D

hey 205, have you tried any of your secret holes, since the river is so low
Put the barge away a month ago cause there was no action here. Havent had my truck on the road in two weeks.:( Bummer! Gonna have her back together tomorrow and will be back to the yotes hopefully. River looks good tho. Havent seen a boat on it tho. And if they were KETCHIN, there would be a fleet down here.:D Past Wolf Run yesterday and most of it was open water. Most of the ponds around here are frozen over but dont know if they are safe to get on. U doing any good? Tried Willow Island off the bank lately? Should get a general idea down ur way. Wont be long buddy and it will be saugeye time again.:) Just had some 3" thick eye sandwiches a night or two ago. :) Yum Yum Making me hungry, gonna have to thaw out a couple pound of those yellow perch for supper tomorrow now that Im thinking about it. ;) Jerky in the dehydrater now and the freezer full. Man, its a great life gettin FAT!;) :D :D Cya
