8 degrees with a wind chill in the negatives. It's too late to go out now, unless I hunt in my back yard for the first time this season.

i went out this afternoon to look for some deer movement for monday, we saw several deer, 2 nice bucks, it looks as if they are back to the usual pattern again.....we did jump 10 rabbits and killed five....not bad for not having a dog

Southerner's don't handle snow and ice well. Looks like we won't be returning Christmas gifts or catching day after Christmas sales either. Shoot we may be lucky to make it to church.

Couple hundred thousand people without power here in Columbus. Thankfully, we never lost ours.
I hunted ducks 12/24 and 12/26 and it was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Didn't see any deer tracks or sign in the usual places. They must be holed up pretty well as the 10 inches of snow we have has a 2 inch layer of ice on top of it.
