Did anyone go out today

Well woke up to horizontal snow, and decided what the heck go out and see what's moving, the nice thing about a dog it doesn't care what the weather is it wants to go out, well woke my son up and out we went, hit our first spot and nothing up and moving there, not even any tracks, well we went out to the second spot and hey guess what, you got it the same thing, we walked our tails off and didn't see anything, the dog had fun running around like an idiot, but oh well got some exercise and some fresh air. Anyone else brave the elements do any good? We spent about 3 hours walking around, well at least the kid had a good time. "J"

I wentout this evening.....at about 4:20pm I saw 2 does running across a field towards me.....in about 2 minutes the first one went straight to my feeder....a real nice doe.....I aimed and shot!......I shot over her back at 30 yrds.....I think the gust of wind messed me up....plus as soon as I pulled the trigger she crouched down.....I saw the arrow fly.....Oh well....better luck next time...

Got 3 squirrels Sat. morning. My buddy and I spend the rest of Sat. and all day Sunday cutting firewood. Thank God for Carhartts. They were a little frozen on the outside but nice and warm on the inside. Nice weather overall the last couple of days.
