Hey, all of you central Ohio guys and gals. A few of us have organized a meet and greet in another thread that may not have been so obvious.

Date: Friday, December 17.
Time: 8:00 PM-ish
Where: BW3 (Morse Road, a couple of miles east of I-270)

I will be there with blaze orange on. I hope to meet a lot of you.

Come on down, Countryroad. Swing on in, have a few barleypops, eat some wings, grab a room and I'll put you on some ducks the next morning.....it'll be the start of the second season for the south zone on the 18th. Which BTW, the late south season is rockin'!
I can even arrange a roommate for you if you need one. ........on second thought, I don't know if Jimmy's going to go for that or not.:D
See you at 8:00, ladies.

If somehow I could get the woman to find something to do Friday I will come down. See she works during the day and has classes 3 nights a week. Friday is usually the only night we can get together. I just might be albe to talk her into studying....;) Spicy Garlic is my flavor too!!! Actually I might be able to talk her into coming down and visiting her friends in C-bus. She graduated from OSU after last winter quarter. I might even get her to drive!!!!! I might have some butt kissing to do now..

Andy Gehle
12-07-2004, 09:58 AM
Nah, you're framing it all wrong. You're going to treat HER to a night with all her old classmates. Just so happens that when she's spending time chatting with her friends, you'll be drinking beer, eatings wings, and talking hunting.......oh wait, that sounds like every other day to me.....

My day just went down the crapper.

I just found out that I have to work at 4:30am on Saturday morning which means I have to get up at 3am. There's no way I can make it now.

:(

Suck it up, Jimmy.
I'll be getting up at 3:00-3:30am also the next day.
Sleep is over-rated anyway. Just go easy on the pops.

In a roundabout way with words, I do believe you just called me a wuss

I may have just taken care of the situation. I think I will still be able to attend. My wife will be pissed, but she'll get over it.

Spittin Spurs, it starts at 8ish so you would be right on time. Come on down and say hi. If you smell too bad, well just pour a couple of beers on ya. That should take care of any off odors, though I wouldn't recommend getting pulled over on the way home. That could be tough to explain.

Ok, all. Just in case anyone needs more specific information, BW3 is at Morse Rd. and Cherry Bottom Rd. or at least that is what Andy says. So if you get lost, Andy owes you a beer. :D

How can I cash in that free beer if I cant find the durn place!!!! Hope to see yall there!!!

Andy Gehle
12-08-2004, 04:38 PM
First of all, it's been clearly established that Squirrel's buying ALL the suds. ;)

But, yup. It's on the corner of Morse and Cherrybottom.
Out of towners should take I-270 to Morse Rd. (about 2 o'clock if 270 were a clock)
Take Morse Rd. EAST
About 3-4 lights should be Cherrybottom.
BW3 is on the SE corner of Morse/Cherrybottom

If you get to the Atlantic Ocean, you went too far.

Bowtech,
I'm originally from Cleveland myself. Once lived in Parma and still have a cousin that lives there. I was lured to Columbus in '97. Where women go, men must follow.

Maybe I wll need to bring that gun afterall. I hope you all can run fast.

(that was a joke, I have seen that some people have a hard time seeing humor on this site)

I'll buy the first pitcher. After that you are all on your own. :-D

I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. From some of these posts I am sure some of you guys have some really good side-spliting stories to tell.

We look forward to seeing you Desperado. You ought to round up ole zfish and get him to buy ya a beer.

SpittinSpurs and Wildwurm you guys can follow me down if you're not familiar with that area. I can hang loose here at the house and we could all go there together if you want.

Toad, Misfit, M.Magis and others this could be a good chance for you to get out of the house if nothing else! lol

Deer Camp boys that are in the area should try to go as well. The more the merrier!!!

I look forward to seeing you guys there who have responded. It sure would be great to see some more guys come on board. It should be a good time of eating wings, swapping huntin stories and having a few drinks. I don't think it will be a big drunk fest. Just some good guys having a good time. Friday 12/17/04 will be here before ya know it.

George, Cstan, Arrow1, Chopiq, Links, Toad, Misfit, WickOhio, Beentown and others. There are several central Ohio guys who have not responded.

It was a good time at BW3. In attendance was Killersquirrel, Crittergitter, Andy, Jimmy and Russ. We enjoyed some wings and a few beers and talked huntin for several hours. We look forward to doing some hunting together in late season or maybe a scouting venture next summer and into next fall. It was a lot of fun!

I had a great time talking with all you guys. I learned a lot, as well.

I'd like to do that again sometime real soon. Maybe we could get a few more guys to join in.

I wonder how Andy is doing this morning with the ducks.

Great meeting you guys! Hope we can do it again soon. It took a crane to drag my arse outta bed at 4:30 today but well worth it. Picked up some good info on bowhunting as well. I'll be in touch.....

Me, too, guys. It was a great time. It was nice to meet other local hunters. I really think that we should do it again. Maybe we could make it a regular thing, maybe once every month or two.

I'd love to do a once a month thing. Whoever can come, great. If not, next month.....and so on.

Good idea.

I had a great time, it was cool meeting everyone. I could've easily sat there for another dozen beers or so. As it was though, I ended up getting all of 3 hours of sleep.
It was nice to put some faces with the names and get to know you guys better. I also learned that I'm going to place a locator beam on a couple of you and move in on your hunting property!! LOL!! In all seriousness it does look like maybe a few of us will be hooking up in the woods on occasion in the future.
I'd certainly be up for doing it on a regular basis....as long as CritterGitter doesn't come back again. (He went nuts and threw his glass at Squirrel's head. At least I remember something like that.;) ) Good sharing a few belly laughs, dude.

See you guys next time.

I was in his scope at one point and had to move his beer.

That's ok Desperado. The next one is planned for 02/05/05 at Quaker Steak & Lube which is at Polaris exit from I-71. It is only about 200 yards from the exit so it's easy to find. We're meeting up there around 6pm. Hope you can make it!
