Kentucky does have some huge bucks. However, they have a lot of poaching that goes on down there. So, if you get an area where that is not so bad then you can get into some big bucks. Also for whatever reason it is common for the coloration of their deer down that way to be a little different. Mty buddy's dad saw a buck down on their farm a couple years back and he called it Casper because it had a ghost white face. He never got a shot at it and he believed it to be a big 9 pt then.

The guy who found the buck was hunting during rifle season and came across the deer.At first he thought it was bedded down. After looking through the scope he noticed it was dead.
They think might have been killed during thier muzzleloader season, but others don't think so because it was that decayed yet.

The dow came out to recover the deer but the guy had tagged it with his statewide permit so it was legal.

The guy and some friends knew the buck was in the area and they have last years sheds.I will get the picture of the sheds.
