According to all the reports from back home OHAA II should hit just about right for some prime rut action.

Been seeing the number of hit deer on the side of the road increasing a great deal over the last week. I believe it's go time!

Man I saw a good buck tonight!!
He was only 20 yards from me, but managed to stay behind every branch there was. He was a VERY good buck even by Ohio standards.
Talk about getting the blood pumping. I wish I could hunt tomorrow, but I've got way too much to do to get ready for OHAA II.

Just stay calm and pick a spot Ohio Bill. You can make the shot and make it count. Take the time to settle yourself down and you will make a good shot.
Is'nt it great when you get that deer in front of you and you get the same felling whether it's a yearling or a good buck? Every deer is a trophy in it's own right.

OhioBill if you have 1750 acres of coal land right by you, then I would be doing everything I could to get access to hunt that property. Maybe you have already tried or maybe there are others things to consider for you, but that would be awesome to have access to land like that!

The mine properties down there are almost open to the public. I see guys all the time riding ATVs, hunting, and fishing. Just call the coal company and ask if they can write you a permission slip. Most of the locals are tresspassing.
