Man it sounded like deer gun seaon this morning,shooting from every direction,I hope they were hitting what they were shooting at,Whatever that was duck, geese ,rabbit, pheasant

One weird thing here where I live is that I hear alot of gunshots right at first light and last light.....If ya ask me I think theres poaching going on!!:mad:

I heard a ton of that this weekend, too. And you know it's not people sighting in their guns...getting ready for gun season. Cause all you hear is ONE shot...maybe 2.

Easy fellars. Rabbit and pheasant opened this past weekend.
But also in season are squirrel, grouse, duck, goose, quail, crow, coyote, groundhog......
First light and last light are fairly universal good times for most game animals.

It's funny when you're sitting in total silence and then all of a sudden.....BOOM .....and your heart jumps out of your chest......or you wet yourself because you've been sitting all day and had 1 too many cups of coffee (or Kool-aid for Thunderflight)......yup....that's funny.

You're my age, so maybe you remember the movie "The Jerk" with Steve Martin. There's a scene when the sniper is trying to kill him and Steve Martin thinks that the sniper is trying to kill all the cans.....
"Stay away from those cans, Jimmy!! He hates those cans!!!!" LOL!

Maybe ease up on the java or reinforce yourself with a couple of spare diapers while you're hanging out.....HeHeHe

Hey, never underestimate the power of a diaper.
With 3 toenail biters, I've learned a couple tricks. Ever spill a beer on the new couch? Well diapers were practically invented to be able to soak up 12 ounces of Guiness!!!;)

Stay away from the cans, Jimmy!!!!!!!
