South Opener

How did everyone do on the south opener. We ended up with 3 geese, 7 mallards, and 1 woodie for the day. Shot the ducks in the morning on a private hole and got the geese in the afternoon in the fields.

Just registered and saw your post! I hunt The southern portion of ohio too! I am from strasburg and find myself in the swamps of Dundee and surrounding areas! THe first season wasnt to bad to my buddy and I! We shot quite a few teal, bunch of woddies! bunch of geese, and about 15-20 mallards! Cnat remember off hand! WE also shot a bird we are not sure what it was! WE are getting it mounted due to its exotic look! Where do you hunt Darron?

I live just south of Dayton and hunt several fields and marshes in the area. I also frequent Rocky Fork and Ceasars Creek lake from time to time.

WE jsut found out what kind of bird it was! It was a RInged teal! get this, they are from south america and africa! Explain that!

Did you get to hunt those flooded fields in the 'burg this past week? Dux were awesome over there around Bear Creek and the Miami, could'nt keep em off me!:D
