Here is a good poll question that I thought of when I saw Thunderflight's poll for who on this site would be good for pres. Have you all seen or heard about the Drury Brother's show called Dream Season. If not I'll give a simple summary. 6 teams consisting of 2 hunters plan a fall season of hunting deer. They plan food plots, stand sites, hunts on home turfs, then the meet up in camp all together and do hunts and have competitions for prizes. This whole "hunting reality show" is one big contest judged and voted on by the viewers. The winning team gets over 25 grand in prizes. Now all of us probably have someone we would like to team up with and get on that show with such as a buddy or family member or such. However, lets just say for the sake of argument that you could be on that show but you had to pick someone from this site to be your partner. Who would you pick and why?

I would pick Carpn Jake.

He has a proven record of harvesting mature bucks. He seems to be open-minded and willing to participate and learn from others. He also is very encouraging of others and truly enjoys hearing of others hunting tales. He's got a lot of drive and passion for the sport.

The only down side might be his work schedule?!?!?

That's my vote!

Carp and GT are solid picks, one more obvious than the other, but

I'd prolly pick Buckmaster, I have a biological / scientific background and Im not afraid to get my hands dirty. He's got experience with food plots and scouting, I think we'd be a deadly combo. Plus hes gives great marital advice!!!!

I have never seen that TV show but it seems those guys hunt for a totally different reason than me. Prizes or no prizes.

I would pick george, because he sounds like he is "the old man of the woods" on this site, and I'm sure I could learn much from his experiences in the field, especially considering he started bowhunting back in the days when ohio's herd was just starting to make a comeback from very low numbers. hell , in the sixties there were many counties that were not even open in ohio yet. the herd was probably around 20,000. compare this to more than half a million now. this had to be tough in respect to scouting, and finding huntable numbers of deer to hone your skills on. most definitely this was the school of hard knocks. this knowledge would be invaluable in any contest, in my opinion.
