IL Saugeye Report

Can anyone give a saugeye report for Indian Lake? I'm hoping to head down there Thursday morning. Thanks in advance!

Hey duver, I heard they have been ok there. The usual places, in front of Bass pro shop and along the south bank from shore.

I hear the night bite is real good there. You might want to try to get there right at or just prior to first light.

.. just location with the wind direction ... the overcast weather has made for a fair day bite too...

I guess I didn't fish chippewa channel hard enough today -- a fishin' bud just told me that a neighbor caught a 4 lber around the corner channel from me, when he came in from crappie fishin' n' was talkin' to them...

My brother and Dad fished IL Wednesday, they ended up with one eye about 15". Brother had one about 5 lb up to the bank and his hook broke, not his line but his hook. He was using small jigs. Lot of people along the south bank but no one doing anything.

Caught three at Moundwood today, 2 keepers at 18 inches. Nothing at Dream Bridge, had a good one on at the south bank, but lost him. Lots of people down by Lakeveiw fishing from shore but no one looked too excited. DuV PS all caught jigging vibees
