It's screaming pretty good here in Morrow and Knox. I was pretty revved up to go hunting this morning because of the temp. Way to windy to stand hunt I think. I'm just killing time for it to get a little brighter out then I'm going to stillhunt a cornfield and see if I can catch one bedded down in it.

windy here in logan county too. just got back in and thee aint nothin movin .hunted and are where been seein bucks in the mornin at daybreak and they werent movin today

I think this wind is supposed to blow into nightfall. Also, we're in a new moon period so most deer will probably remain bedded until day break. They'll make a go for the nearest food at first light. Them big ole bucks will be back in their bed a short time later. I know a good patch of oaks along the river that I might sneak into tomorrow morning well before 1st light.

No hunting today due to the wind gusts of up to 40 mph. It has turned into a nice family day. Maybe I will get out tomorrow.

The wind is blowing pretty hard in North Carolina too.

I went out this morning and didn't see squat. The wind was TERRIBLE for my spot, but I was wearing my scent lok suit so I wasn't worried.

I did see a few joggers and bicyclist.
