We were actually booked two open for two National Recording artist.
But anyhow.....
6 out of the 10 songs of our cd will be available for free download as .MP3's from download.com in a few days, the other 4 songs on the cd were covers or remakes and we cant give those away for downloads because of copyright and mechanical license stipulations.
And to ray, I will get that cd out ot you as soon as I can remember to, with everything going on I keep forgetting about it.
But you can download 6 of the 10 songs for free in a few days for free.
I hope everyone likes this song, it was one of our most requested and actually won Track of the day on Garage band records web site.

Thats awesome !!!
I kind of miss it, but I dont miss all the time and work I had to put into the band.
we were booked 3 months ahead of time every weekend and a couple of days thru. the week, and between all the bookings and handling all the email, practices and promotions for shows and mailing out cd's it was just to much on me and I didnt have time for my family and to do the things I needed to do, so I quit the band and when I quit hte band kind of just folded.
BUt I still miss doing it once every now and then, but then hunting season rolls around and I am glad I have my weekends free again.
Maybe one day we can get together for a jam session, those are always a blast.
Take care bill, and keep on keepin the time.

Larry,
I know you have the passion for music and one day you will be able to have the available time to dedicate yourself to it again. But for now, your efforts are being spent on the right things. It says a lot about a person when they can differentiate and prioritize the way you have. You and your band members have a gift and will soon be able to do what you love to do. The song YOU COMPLETE ME, that you have shared with us is a great song and there is certainly more of that where it came from. But for now you have chosen the correct road to taking care of your family, which to me seem to be a testament to who you are and what you stand for. Keep up the good deeds and you will be rewarded. everyone should listen to the song and try to understand the message behind it.
To everyone else on the site, do yourself a favor and listen.
PEACE!
Ray

I listened to your song. I really liked it, it gave me a peacefull feeling and reflections on the love and strength in my life. I quess that is what music should do, provoke thought and feeling. Good job

Thanks Muzzy
yea, the best compliment is when people say it actually created a mood or a change in feeling or thoughts of the day.
Thats the whole idea behind music, its not just a beat and melody, a catchy little phrase, its a message in the lyrics that are heart felt and people can relate to them, and the music should set the mood of the thoughts or feelings.
Thanks for the compliment
